C. Michael Black / Attorney-Mediator
Attorney and Counselor at Law

Experience Counts

When you are considering using the services of a mediator, please consider my background and experience.

In the years since being licensed in 1970, my trial experience has included cases involving contracts, construction, personal injury, federal and state securities actions, real property, marital property rights, special needs children, probate, guardianship, and mental health issues. This experience provides insight in dealing with the difficult issues inherent in complex litigation.

The experience that comes from working with many attorneys in many types of litigation can be at your disposal. Although the parties control the outcome of any mediation, the mediator controls the process. Controlling the process includes providing an insight that the parties may not have considered.

Although there are no guarantees in the mediation process, mediation can provide a result that is acceptable to all parties. In attempting to achieve that satisfactory result, consider who you want to act as the mediator for your client's case. An experienced mediator can provide the insight and techniques to bring the parties to a mutually acceptable resolution.
